We are steadily mapping horse riding and horse driving trails for Pennsylvania and surrounding areas into OpenStreetMap. Trails can be conveniently viewed using the Waymarked Trails site…
Horse Trail Map of Pennsylvania

We have added most Pennsylvania rail trails that allow horse riding, as well as a good chunk of Pennsylvania state parks and state forests with horse trail networks. We also have some trails in bordering areas of Maryland, Ohio, Virginia and Delaware, and a few horse driving trails.
All of this is free and open data, no signing up for anything, no monthly fees. You can download an area of trails to your phone or GPS for free.
Recent additions include:
- Quehanna Wild Area
- God’s Country Trails
- Loyalsock Bridle Trails
- Thunder Mountain Equestrian Trails
- Fair Hill Natural Resources Area (Maryland)
- C&O Canal Trail
