While this site is mainly about horse trail riding in Pennsylvania, we’ve added many New Jersey state horse trails into OpenStreetMap. These can be viewed (for free!) using several methods:

OpenStreetMap is often an option for a basemap in many riding and outdoors mapping apps, as well.
We’ve already added many of the trails in New Jersey state forests and state parks. We added the Delaware & Raritan canal and a number of long rail trails that permit horse riding in New Jersey. We have even added some county and local parks. We will be working on other areas in 2026 as time permits. Of course YOU can join OpenStreetMap for free and contribute and improve trails you know and use too!
